Meet the Doctor




Brownlie Chiropractic has been established in the La Grange area for over 25 years. We recently moved into a brand new office in  the La Grange Professional Center Suite L ( located right behind the new Parking Garage). Dr. Brownlie is a graduate of Palmer College (1985) and was motivated to begin her career after her migraine headaches were completely cleared up after receiving chiropractic care as a young woman.

Professional Training:
Doctor Brownlie has special training in SOT techniques as well as extensively training each year with a future goal of specialization in cranial adjustments to both children and adults. Her adjustment technique can be described as gentle in nature; however, full manual care is also available. Each patient is carefully analyzed and diagnosed before any adjustments begin. Wellness Care would hallmark her style of adjusting sheduling. This leads to more permanent changes in the patient's body over time so problems do not keep returning.

She utilizes the most sophisticated of technology in evaluating her new and existing patients...The Subluxation Station. This technology is described on this website on the Chiro Slide section.

Every patient becomes a part of the Brownlie Chiropractic "Family". No two patients are adjusted exactly the same, of course and even HOW they are adjusted is part of the team effort to create a "World of Wellness". We cannot promise to "cure" anyone, but we do promise to do all we can to help someone in need if they have what we call "subluxations/nerve blockage".

We use  semi-open  adjusting spaces as well as a private room; have full chiropractic adjustments of both full manual or gentle nature; massage therapy, physical therapy and rehab bays. We offer care on a Discount Prepay System and we do work directly with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO. All of our paperwork is set up so that Medicare is handled efficiently and patients can send their receipts into their other insurance company for reimbursement purposes.

We are a referral based practice which hopefully reflects the wonderful World of Wellness we endeavor to create for the benefits of a healthier world.
